April 7 & Easter!

Today went to the hospital at 2:30am my sweet Candice had her little baby boy! His name is Jensen Daniel Harmon. He weigh in at 6lb 2 oz and was 19 inches long. Looks just like his dad.

April 8 Easter was good. My special friend came to stay with me. And Layla showed up early Sunday morning ready to spend the day with her momo & who she calls pappa Jack friend. We all three went out to his sister house in Burleson and she got to meet his grand children Hanna and Jackson. She also meet his neice and nephew! Layla got to hunt eggs with them and she really enjoy cracking the eggs over the other kids heads she thought that was the coolest thing. I also got to meet his niece and her kids. Had such a good time. Layla had a blast. As far as my friend not so sure. He had a run in with a goat! LOL! Then on the way back in to town we stop off the hospital to see Candice and the baby.

It was a good weekend.

March 28th

So Dr. Mc Laughlin gave me a 6 week break. Went back to see her on March 28th. She said every thing look really good. And ask If am ready for the next step. I told her I was ready and she said lets do it. And this will be the time to do any touch up. My surgery is set up for April 25 at 7am. So looking forward to this surgery. They will be doing the nipples and it is very interesting how they make them. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Then 6 weeks after that I will go back and have them tattoo. I am almost done. It has been a long two years. So much has happen in those two years. This season of my life is almost over with. Am ready to start the next season.

Feb 10th Implants

Well today I get my implants. I get the expander taken out and I am so happy. Getting them things inflated was no fun. As they got bigger and my skin expanded I was pretty much painful. They would expand out to the side like a football but they were round. I walk around with my arms bulge out to the sides. But today I get them out and the implants in. Mandi came to my house around 5 am got to hospital at 5:30 to register. Surgery started on time and maybe lasted a hour. When I woke up La Sha, Mandi, and my special friend 007 was there. Got to go home the same day. No drain bulbs this time around. Just was wrap up with ace bandage and had to keep them wrap for about a week. That was fun cause the bandage kept sliding down. But all is good now just have to wait for the nipples to get done and the tattooing. Then am good to go. I will say one thing its kind of nice to be able and fill out my shirts and dresses.

Reconstruction

Started my reconstruction on Dec. 2nd 2011. It took about 4 hrs. Mandi took me to the hospital that morning we got there around 5:30 am. Surgery started around 8 am was a little late getting started. Not because of doctor just other surgery ahead of me. I gave Mandi a kiss good bye and before I was out of the holding room I was out. I barley remember seeing Mandi leaving the room. My sister came up there later. When I woke up I remember seeing Mandi and Shelly up there. This was the start of me getting my chest back. Had my expander put in. Let me just say my chest was hurting. I guess after going a year flat chested to having something was a little painful. Dr McLaughlin was saying how my skin was like cement from the radiation. I was still out of it alot. It was not like when I had my mastectomy and I was pretty alert. This time I was pretty mess up. I remember dosing off and on trying to stay awake. Cause my sister was there and Mandi. I felt like I had to keep them company. Mandi had to leave to go get Layla and brought her back up to the hospital. She wanted to set on the bed with me. I really thought that I was going to be back up and running and going to church Sunday. Let me tell you that did not happen. I remember Friday night my special friend was texting me to check on me. But I just could not bring myself to pick up the phone and text him back I was just not with it and not feeling to good. He text me Saturday morning and I text him back and let him know where I was and he came up to see me. Mandi came back up there and then Schera and Shreai and Peyton came up there. That was the first time Schera and Shreai came to see me thru all my surgery. I did get to go home Saturday afternoon and am just saying I did not want any one near my chest. I had them four drain bulbs that I had to drain all the time. Getting in and out of bed was no fun. La Sha and Shreai had to help me set up in bed just to get up to go to bathroom. This surgery was a whole lot more painful then the other one. Now time to go ever week and get them inflated or blown up what ever you want to call it. I will let you know how it goes.

Bad week!

Boy I have had some bad days. But let me tell you this week has been bad starting with Monday and going on so far up intill today. I think today broke the camels back. I a couple of break down. Well not real break downs but where I just want to start walking and just keep walking until I can't walk no more and who knows where I will end up.

Autos why much we have them. They are nothing but a head ach. But we can't seem to get away with not having one. And what really sucks is not having a man around to ask about it. Or just to get a opinion. I like more then one opinion.

Tomorrow I will be doing Race For The Cure just wonder how tomorrow is going to go. Will my van start or will it not? Will I make it to the end or not? There is so much going thru my head right now that it is spinning all the way around. Not just about my van just about every thing in my life. I will be glad when this week is over.

And to top it off I don't get to spend any time with my special someone. I kind of getting use to seeing him every weekend. Its nice being in his company and having his company. But I guess we can't always have every thing so I just have to deal with not seeing him. Out of site but not out of mind!.
